Buafo IV (DECD) v Asafua and Others (J4/53/2014) [2017] GHASC 43 (27 November 2017);
13 - 05 - 2015
IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF JUDICATURE, THE SUPREME COURT (CIVIL DIVISION)
SITTING IN ACCRA ON WEDNESDAY THE 13TH DAY OF MAY, 2015
CORAM: ATUGUBA JSC (PRESIDING), ANSAH, BONNIE, BAMFO & AKAMBA JJSC.
CIVIL APPEAL NO. J4/53/2014
NANA AKUA BUAFO IV (DECD)
VRS.
KOBINA ASAFUA & ORS.
SUBSTITUTED BY EKOW EYIRE
Parties present.
Nkrobea Effah Dartey for the appellant.
Osafo Buabeng (with Francis Gariba Apam) for the respondent.
BY COURT:
The Appellant sought to argue an additional ground of appeal which, upon objection raised, was disallowed. The appellant then abandoned all other grounds of appeal and said he had nothing more to say. The appellant now contends that the pursuant dismissal of his appeal was against the weight of the evidence. We do not see how such an issue could arise after the appellant had in effect abandoned the appeal.
We dismiss this appeal.
